United States
Brokers and investment platforms for US residents
US residents invest through broker-dealers supervised under federal securities law, with SIPC membership as a failure backstop for missing assets and with retirement accounts that have their own IRS rules. That structure is not exportable to a UK ISA or a Finnish osakesäästötili.
The confirmed US rows are domestic broker-dealers and crypto venues, not the global CFD brands. Pattern-day-trader rules, options approval and margin are features of this market. They are explained so they are not surprises. They are not a syllabus you are encouraged to complete.
