What WiT Markets is
WiT Markets is an editorial and data project about global markets and local platform choice. It exists so a reader can understand a market once, then see which providers are actually confirmed in the country they live in.
Global, then local
Stock-market structure does not change because a reader crosses a border. Tax wrappers, compensation schemes, client classifications and which legal entity will accept the reader do change. The site is built around that split. Market, research, tool and provider pages are global. Country pages exist only for the United Kingdom, the United States, Finland and Australia in this phase, and only for the topics that are genuinely local.
Why it exists
A reader can already find a broker advertisement and a generic market definition. The gap is the join between them: what the market actually is, which legal entity would take the reader, and which number on the page has been checked. WiT Markets is built to keep those three questions separate.
Editorial approach
Interpretation is labelled WiT View. Facts need a source. A missing fact stays Not confirmed. The editorial policy is the longer version of that rule, and the author page states that the byline is a desk, not an invented expert.
Data policy
Production does not show prices, probabilities or screener rows until a source is licensed and connected. Demo figures exist only in development and are labelled. Provider fees and minimum deposits in the current dataset are Not confirmed.
Corrections and research standards
Report an error from the contact form. The queues are editorial error, provider data, regulatory information, market information and technical issue. Research notes cite public sources and do not publish a study result before the observations exist. The first study on the bench is the broker cost study, and it has no published totals.
What this page does not claim
WiT Markets does not claim a corporate registration, a regulatory permission or a physical office on this page, because those facts should be stated only when they are true of the operating company. The site you are reading is the publication. It is not a broker, not an adviser, and not a venue.
How the work is paid for
The commercial-disclosure page is the binding description. No provider in the current dataset has an active commercial relationship. If that changes, the relationship will be disclosed and will not be allowed to rewrite a fee, an availability row or a sentence about risk.
