What the site stores in your browser

A country preference and the dismissal of the location hint are stored in local storage on your device so the site does not ask on every visit. That information is not sent to WiT Markets as an account record. There is no user account in this build.

Forms

The contact form is shown only when Postmark delivery is configured for this deployment. The research-email form is shown only when a list destination is set. Until then, that form is not on the page. A contact message sends the topic, the page address, the message text and the visitor’s email to Postmark so it can be delivered to the publication inbox. The visitor’s address is the reply address, not the sender. This application does not keep its own copy. Do not send account numbers, identity documents or passwords.

Providers and logs

Hosting will generate ordinary technical logs. Those logs are an operational matter for whoever hosts the site. Analytics, if added later, should be described on this page before they are switched on. They are not described as active now.

Your requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information a controller holds. This application does not keep its own mailing list or contact archive. Postmark processes a contact message in order to deliver it, and that processing can take place outside your country. The research list, if enabled later, would use a separate destination, which is not connected in this build.
