Editorial

Editorial policy

WiT Markets writes like a desk that expects to be checked. The policy below is the standard for what gets a URL, what stays out of the sitemap, and how a mistake is owned.

Evidence

Factual claims about fees, availability, permissions, protection schemes and product access need a source. Interpretation is allowed and is marked, often with the WiT View label. Interpretation is not a place to hide a number we could not find.

Authorship and review

Pages are attributed to the WiT Markets editorial desk, which is a function, not a fictional person with invented credentials. A separate review line, WiT Markets Research Review, records that a second pass looked at sourcing, country claims and risk language. Named outside experts will be added only when they are real and have agreed to be named.

Corrections

Material corrections will be noted on the page they affect. Send them via the contact page and choose editorial correction or provider data correction. A provider disagreeing with a judgement is not, by itself, a correction. A provider showing that a fact is wrong is.

Software assistance

Drafting software may be used to structure pages and to check consistency. It is not a source. Facts still need a human-readable source, and unconfirmed cells stay unconfirmed. Software is not listed as an author.

Conflicts and updates

Commercial relationships are disclosed on their own page and are not a reason to include a firm or to order a table. High-risk pages are flagged for legal review before they are treated as finished compliance documents. Review dates are revisited on a six-month target, sooner if a provider’s entity or a rule changes in a way we know about.
