Events the desk has checked
This directory holds events an editor has checked against an original source. It is not a feed, and an empty list means no schedule has been entered. It does not mean the week is quiet.
No editorially verified event is on file. An empty directory is not a quiet week, and this page is not a live economic calendar.
An event record needs a name, a category, a country or region, a date and time, a timezone, the original source, the markets it concerns, a short description, and the date the desk last checked it. Past events stay labelled as past. Nothing here is shown as upcoming unless the date is still ahead and the record is verified.
Central-bank meetings, official releases, earnings dates, regulatory deadlines and exchange product changes can all use that record. The forex briefing explains how spreads behave around a release. It is not itself a dated event, so it is not listed in the directory.
The economic calendar tool remains a separate empty state until a sourced feed exists. Do not read this page as that feed.
