Briefing
A market briefing is not a live price
WiT Markets does not run a licensed news wire. The briefings in this section are written by the editorial desk about how to read markets. They do not pretend to be this hour’s tape.
A headline that names a price, a record or a percent move is a factual claim about a moment. Publishing one without a timestamped source would be fabrication, even if a similar sentence was true last week. The homepage does not count down “two hours ago” on a static essay.
When a wire or an exchange feed is connected, items will carry the source, the time and a link. Until then, this section stays small and editorially managed. Research notes live next door and are labelled as analysis, not as breaking news.
If you came here for a quote, use the exchange or your broker, and treat anything on a comparison site that cannot name its data vendor as decoration. A briefing can tell you how to read a session. It cannot be the session.
