What a WiT Markets report is for
WiT Markets intends to publish a small number of recurring reports. None has a dataset yet. This note is the standard those reports will have to meet, so that a future chart is traceable rather than decorative.
What is going on
Comparison sites often publish rankings that cannot be reconstructed. A report from this desk will name the population, the date, the source of each input, the treatment of missing data and the difference between a measured figure and an interpretation. If a cell is missing, it will stay missing.
Why it matters
Readers should be able to tell a measured fee from an opinion about whether the fee matters. The methodology page already separates those. Reports will cite it. They will not introduce a score that the methodology forbids.
What to watch
Until a report is listed on the reports hub with a publication date and a source table, it does not exist. Unpublished series pages explain scope only.
Risks
A published number can still be wrong. The correction policy is the remedy. A number that cannot be sourced will not be published to avoid that risk.
